DAY 1:
Upon arrival at the airport or bus station, we welcome you and take you to the Green Jungle Tours office for check-in. Next, we drive for about an hour to the Filadelfia community. Here, we board a boat for a brief 10-minute upstream journey on the Tambopata River to our hotel. Once there, our guide briefs you on hotel policies before you settle into your rooms.

Post a refreshing nap and a tasty lunch, we plunge into the tropical forest. Accompanied by an expert local guide, you’ll navigate our trails, discovering various medicinal plants and ancient trees, some over 600 years old. Whether you’re on the ground or atop our 45-meter (148 ft.) birdwatching tower, chances to spot wildlife, from monkeys to toucans, are plentiful. Embrace the essence of the Tambopata National Reserve as dusk approaches. We then retreat to the hotel to recharge.

Come nighttime, our boat sets off, letting you observe the nocturnal creatures lining the banks of the Tambopata River.

DAY 2:

Starting the day with a cup of tea or coffee sets the perfect tone. As dawn breaks, we embark on our boat journey along the Tambopata River, aiming for the macaw and parrot clay lick. During this half-hour ride, keep an eye out; we might spot a JAGUAR or an ANACONDA.

Once at the Chuncho clay lick, a vibrant display unfolds. For over three hours, the dazzling colors and chirrups of birds captivate us. Simultaneously, we savor a delicious country breakfast, amplifying the experience.

Later, we cruise the Tambopata River again, this time hunting for sights of capybaras, tapirs, wild pigs, monkeys, caimans, turtles, or cats. All the while, the pristine beauty of the Tambopata National Reserve surrounds us.

By afternoon, we retrace our steps, heading back to the city along the same route we took on the first day.
